Showcase
It all began in 2010. This was the year I began my journey as an Aboriginal artist and tying my culture into my clothing designs.
This is the dress that started everything. In 2010, I made this dress "rainbow Serpent" for the Deadly Dressed competition for The Deadly's Sunset Ceremony. This dress took me a number of hours to complete, all rouching done by hand, and thousands of diamantes glued onto the serpent. (October 2010)
In 2011, I created my first collection Spirit Tree. Modelled by the lovely Tahny Lew-Fatt.
The Spirit Tree Collection travelled to Fashion Exposed 2011, in Naarm (Melbourne), this was funded through the former NSW Department of Industry and Investment.
